유형 16 순서 장문 - 04~06
During the violent Russian Revolution of the early 20th century, the Bolsheviks took control of the country from the emperor, Czar Nicholas Ⅱ. To make sure no member of the royal family could later return to power, the czar, his wife, his son, and his four daughters were all killed in 1918. However, there were soon rumors that one of the family members had survived and escaped. Over the next few years, several people claimed to be members of the royal family. Among them was a woman named Anna Anderson. In 1920, she announced that she was the czar's youngest daughter, Princess Anastasia. Because she knew so much about the royal family's lifestyle, many people were convinced she was Anastasia. But most of the people who had actually known the royal family were sure that Anderson was a fake. In 1927, Anderson's former roommate announced that her real name was Franziska Schanzkowska. She insisted that she knew Anderson well and that she clearly was not a royal princess. In fact, a private investigation identified Anderson as a Polish factory worker. Anderson, however, continued to claim she was Anastasia and lived the life of a celebrity. The truth that many people had suspected was revealed in the end. Anderson passed away in 1984, and tests of her DNA showed that it did not match that of the royal family, which clarified that she was not Princess Anastasia. Most scientists concluded that Anderson and Schanzkowska were the same person. In 2009, it was officially announced that remains of all the members of the Russian royal family had been found. Despite the rumors, none of them had survived.
